Broadcasting feed messages to screens

You can turn any feed message into a popup on TV screens by using a screen announcement from the Feed.

To send a message to the TV screens, navigate to the Feed and locate the Create Screen Announcement box at the top of the page.

Step 1: Open the screen announcement dialog

  1. Go to the Feed.

  2. At the top of the page, click Create screen announcement.

Step 2: Choose screens and feeds

A dialog will open:

  1. Under Select screens, choose whether the message should appear on All screens or specific screens.

  2. In the text box, type the message you want to broadcast.

  3. At the bottom, use Post to… to select which feeds this message should be posted to as a regular feed post.

Step 3: Post and see it on screens

  1. Click Post.

  2. The message will:

    • Be posted to the selected feeds, and

    • Appear as a popup on the selected TV screens, including the text you wrote.

You’ll see a success confirmation in the feed, hear a short sound on the TV, and the popup will look similar to this:
