Pro and Enterprise (Rewards / Coins enabled)
Prerequisites
Coins are enabled for your company
Your admins have configured Achievements, Competitions, Battles, Missions, Activities, Endorsements or Budgets to use coins
1. Achievements
When you unlock an Achievement, you may receive coins.
Achievements can be automatically awarded (based on rules) or manually assigned by an admin or manager.
How many coins you get for each achievement is configured in Rewards → Coins Setup.
If coins are not set for a specific achievement, you’ll still earn the badge but not coins.
2. Competitions
If you participate in a Competition where one or more prizes are coins, you can win coins by finishing in a winning position.
The competition creator decides which placements (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) give coins and how many.
3. Battles
You can earn coins by winning Battles against other users.
When a Battle is created with coins as the stake or prize, the winner receives the configured amount of coins.
4. Missions (Boosted missions)
If you create a Mission and it is set to Public, other users can choose to boost your mission with coins:
Colleagues can pledge a chosen number of coins as a boost.
If you complete the mission (reach your goal), you receive the coins that were boosted.
If you do not complete the mission, you do not get the coins; the boosting user gets their coins returned.
5. Activities (reports)
You can earn coins automatically when you log certain activity types.
Admins can set up coins for specific activities in Rewards → Coins Setup (fixed coins per activity, or a % based on value/quantity/provision).
When you report that activity, you receive the configured number of coins.
If the activity has no coin rule, you won’t earn coins from it.
6. Endorsements
You can both give and receive coins through Endorsements (if enabled for your account):
When you send an endorsement, you can attach coins (from your own balance or from a budget, depending on setup).
When you receive an endorsement with coins, those coins are added to your balance.
7. Coins assigned directly by your manager
Your manager or an admin may assign you a starting balance of coins, for example:
When your user is created, so you can immediately:
Participate in Battles
Give Endorsements
Redeem smaller rewards
These coins appear in your balance like any others.
8. Coin Budget (for admins/managers)
If you are a budget admin, you can receive a coin budget from an Account Owner / Company Admin:
This budget is separate from your personal coins.
You use your budget to:
Fund competitions (prizes)
Add coins to endorsements for your team
You don’t “earn” these coins for yourself, but you control how they’re spent on recognition.
What if this doesn’t work?
I’m not earning coins where I expected to
Ask your admin how coins are configured for Achievements, Competitions, Battles, Missions, Activities and Endorsements. Not every item necessarily grants coins.
I can’t see my coin balance
Go to Rewards → Earnings to see coins earned, spent and gifted.
If Earnings is missing, your account may not have Rewards/Coins enabled.
I can’t give coins in an endorsement or Battle
You may not have enough personal coins or budget, or your company may have disabled coins for that feature. Ask a manager or admin to check your balance and settings.
