How do I create a new slide for my TV screens in SalesScreen?

To create a new slide, go to Screens → Playlists, click Create new slide in the Available slides panel, choose a slide type, configure the data and background, add it to one or more playlists, and save or publish it.

Prerequisites
You must be a Company Admin or Screen Admin.
You must have at least one screen playlist set up.

  1. In the left-hand menu in SalesScreen, click Screens

  2. On the Screens page, go to the Playlists tab.

  3. On the right side, in the Available slides panel, click Create new slide.

How do I choose the type of slide?

  1. In the slide creation view, pick a group on the left, then a slide type within that group.

Data – shows numbers and KPIs from your sales data, for example:

  • Single metric – show one KPI (for example “Closed Won value per user”).

  • Activity Flow / Hit-rate – show activity over time.

Gamification – shows game elements from SalesScreen, for example:

  • Achievements, Battles, Coins, Rewards, XP and Levels, and related leaderboards.

Media – shows your own media, for example:

  • Image, Time countdown, Web page, YouTube.

Recognition – shows people-focused content, for example:

  • Birthday, Feed, Work anniversary.

How do I configure a Data slide?

(If you chose a Data slide type such as Single metric.)

  1. Choose the Metric you want to show (for example “Closed Won value per user”).

  2. Select the Period (time range), such as This month.

  3. Pick a Layout, for example:

    • Table, Bar, Pie, Grid, Number, or Line.

  4. Set any extra options you need, such as:

    • Measure towards target (Yes/No)

    • Show total (Yes/No)

    • Show comparison (Yes/No)

  5. Choose how to view by (for example User, Team, etc.).

  6. Add filters if you want to limit which data is shown.

How do I choose a background?

  1. Click Set background.

  2. In the window that opens, pick a tab:

    • Suggestions – ready‑made SalesScreen backgrounds.

    • Unsplash – search for free images.

    • Upload – upload your own image.

    • Library – reuse images you already uploaded.

  3. Click the image you want to use as the slide background.
Tip: Built‑in backgrounds are designed to work well with text and numbers, so they are often the safest choice.

How do I name the slide and add it to playlists?

  1. Enter a Title for the slide. This name appears both on the screens and in the Playlists view.

  2. (Optional) In the playlist dropdown, select one or more playlists where this slide should be added immediately.

How do I save or publish the slide?

  1. Choose one of the following:

    • Save as draft – the slide is saved but not yet live on screens. It will appear with a New tag in Available slides.

    • Save and publish – the slide is saved and added directly to the playlists you selected. It will start showing on all screens that use those playlists.

Notes:

  • The Available slides list is sorted alphabetically. After you refresh the page, the new slide will move to its correct place.

  • Use the Search box above Available slides to quickly find a slide.

How do I change duration, edit, or copy the slide later?

  1. Go to Screens → Playlists.

  2. Select the playlist that contains your slide.

  3. Hover over the slide and click the three dots menu.

  4. Choose one of the options:

    • Edit – change the slide setup.

    • Copy – create a new slide based on this one.

    • Preview – see how the slide will look.

    • Duration – choose how many seconds the slide should stay on screen (for example 15 or 60 seconds).

If you saved the slide as a draft, you can later drag it from Available slides into any playlist.

What if this doesn’t work?

My slide doesn’t appear on any TV screens
Check that you chose Save and publish and selected at least one playlist. Then confirm that the playlist is assigned to a screen under Screens and that the screen is online.

I can’t find the slide I just created
Look in the Available slides panel and use the Search box. The list is sorted alphabetically, so your slide may move after you refresh the page. Draft slides will have a New label.

The data or layout doesn’t look right
Edit the slide from Screens → Playlists → … → Edit and review the Metric, Period, Layout, and any filters. Adjust these until the slide shows the metric and breakdown you expect.
