Prerequisites
Competitions are enabled for your company.
You need permission to manage competitions.
Important: Before you publish a copied competition
Copying a competition carries over the setup from the original competition, but not every element may be exactly what you want for the new one.
Before you publish, go through the setup and check who is competing, the metric, the dates, the prizes, and the advanced options.
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1 – Go to Competitions
In the left-hand menu, under Gamification, click Competitions.
Step 2 – Find the competition
Choose the tab for the competition you want to copy: Active, Draft, or Completed.
If you have many competitions, use the Title and description, Created by, Departments, or Teams filters, then click Search.
Step 3 – Copy the competition
On the competition row, click the three-dots menu on the right.
Click Copy.
Step 4 – Review and adjust the setup
Go through Steps 1–6 in the competition setup.
Check and update anything that should be different for the new competition, such as:
Who is competing
The metric
The dates
The prizes
Advanced options
Click Save as draft to finish later, or Save and publish to launch the copied competition.
What if this doesn’t work?
I don’t see the three-dots menu or Copy option
You may not have Company Admin or Team Admin permissions, or you may not have access to manage competitions. Ask an admin to check your access. The copy is missing users, teams, or settings I expected
Review the copied competition setup before publishing. Some settings may need to be adjusted for the new competition, especially participants, teams, dates, metric, prizes, and advanced options.
