🙋 This article is for: Company Admins and Managers who want to train their team inside SalesScreen.
⭐ Available on: all plans, as the Learning add-on. Coins need the Rewards module.
What is Learning?
Learning lets you publish short lessons: a PDF, rich text, a video or a link, with an optional quiz. Your team opens the lesson, takes the quiz and earns coins the first time they pass. You see who has passed, who has failed and who hasn't started.
Because lessons live in SalesScreen, next to your competitions and leaderboards, your team doesn't need another tool or login. And with a quiz, you know who understood it, not just who received it.
When should I use Learning?
A new product, price or process your team must know.
Objection handling or a pitch you want everyone to use.
Onboarding basics for new starters.
A short refresher before a campaign.
Learning is made for short lessons. It is not a full learning platform with courses, certificates or SCORM files.
What your team sees
Learning in the left menu, with the lessons they can take. Each card shows Not started, In progress, Passed or Failed.
A reminder on Home when they have lessons to complete.
A notification, a push notification and an email when a new lesson is published for them, and a weekly reminder until they open it.
The same lessons in the SalesScreen mobile app, where they can read them and take the quiz.
Publish your first lesson
Go to Learning and click Manage lessons, then New lesson.
Choose Create with AI to turn a document, video or link into a lesson with a quiz, or Create manually. Create with AI shows when Scout AI is turned on for your account.
Check the title, the content and the quiz questions.
Under Lesson audience, choose the teams, departments, cohorts or people who should take it.
Optional: set Coins on pass and an end date under Available until.
Click Save and Preview to see it as your team will, then click Publish.
Your audience is notified right away. For all options, see [LINK: How do I create and publish a lesson?].
Who can create lessons?
Company Admins turn Learning on, create lessons for anyone, and manage and see results for every lesson.
Managers create lessons for the people they manage. They can publish to the whole company only if they have access to all users. Managers edit, archive and see results for their own lessons. They can open and copy any lesson.
Everyone else takes the lessons published for them. Supporters don't have access to Learning.
Only people in a lesson's audience can take it. Admins and managers outside the audience can open it, but not take the quiz. Nobody can take a lesson they created.
Tips for lessons people finish
Keep it short: one piece of content and 3 to 5 questions.
Set an end date, so reminders stop and the lesson is archived on time.
Add a coin reward and a Coin budget, so you control the total payout.
Start with one team, then roll out further.
What if this doesn't work?
I can't see Learning in the menu: while Learning is in Labs, a Company Admin turns it on in Settings > Labs.
I can't see Manage lessons: only Company Admins and Managers can create lessons. Ask an admin to check your role.
Someone can't see a lesson: check that they are in the Lesson audience, that the lesson is Live (not Draft, Scheduled or Archived), and that today is between Available from and Available until.
Someone can open a lesson but can't take the quiz: they are not in the Lesson audience (their own team, department or cohorts), or they created the lesson.
