How can I manually assign an Achievement?

Manually assign an Achievement in order to rectify a situation where someone should have been awarded a badge but did not.

You can manually assign an Achievement to fix situations where someone should have received a badge but didn’t (for example, due to a missing report or a sync issue).
This does not change historical data, but it does grant the badge and any connected XP/coins

Step 1: Open Achievement management

  1. In the left‑hand sidebar, click Manage.

  2. In the menu that opens, select Achievements under the Gamification section.

Step 2: Click “Assign”

On the Manage Achievements page:

  1. Make sure you’re on the Automatic tab (where your regular achievements are listed).

  2. Click the Assign button in the top‑right corner.

Step 3: Choose the achievement and recipient

In the Assign Achievement window:

  1. Under Achievement, choose the badge you want to grant (for example, King of the hill).

  2. Under User, select the user, team, or company (depending on your configuration) who should receive it.

  3. Keep Show on screen checked if you want the celebration to appear on TV screens.

Important note

  • Manually assigned achievements do not automatically create a feed post, even if that achievement/user/team is normally configured for feed notifications.

  • If you also want a feed post, you may need to create a separate post (for example, a screen announcement or a manual message in the feed) to highlight the recognition.
