Assigning Coins to Activities and Achievements

You can automatically award coins every time users log certain activities or complete achievements. This is managed from the Coins Setup tab in Rewards.

Step 1: Open Coins Setup

  1. Go to the Rewards module in the left‑hand sidebar navigation.

  2. Click the Coins Setup tab at the top.

Here you’ll see a list of all Achievements and Activities, each with a coins field (often set to 0 by default).

Step 2: Assign coins to achievements

  1. Make sure All or Achievements is selected.

  2. In the Coins field for each achievement, type how many coins users should earn when they complete it.

Example:

  • King of the hill → 200 coins

  • WOW! → 75 coins

Step 3: Assign coins to activities

  1. Click the Activities button to only show activities.

  2. For each activity, decide how coins are calculated:

  • Fixed coins per activity: enter a number in the Coins field.

  • Percentage‑based coins: choose whether coins should be based on Quantity, Value, or Provision, and enter a percentage (e.g., 10%).

This lets you, for example, award coins equal to 10% of the logged value, or per unit/quantity.

Step 4: Make sure the activity has the right fields

For percentage‑based coins to work, the activity must actually use those fields.

  1. Go to Manage → Activity Types in the left‑hand sidebar navigation.

  2. Select the relevant activity (for example, Life Insurance).

  3. In the Logger settings tab, ensure that fields like Value, Quantity, and/or Provision are visible (and required, if needed).

If these fields are not enabled in the activity type, they will not be available as options in Coins Setup.

Step 5: Save your changes

Back in Rewards → Coins Setup, click Save changes at the bottom right to apply your new coin rules.

Tips

  • Use Achievements for bigger milestones with higher coin rewards.

  • Use Activities (with fixed or %‑based coins) to reward everyday behaviors like calls, meetings, or insurance policies sold.

  • Always double‑check that you’ve clicked Save changes before leaving the page.
