Ready to raise the stakes? Multi-Round competitions challenge your team across multiple stages of performance, with each round focused on a different goal or metric. As rounds progress, the bar gets higher—only the top performers or those who hit the goal move on. You can crown one final champion or reward everyone who crosses the finish line in the last round.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many rounds can I include?
You can create up to 5 rounds in a single Multi-Round competition.
What are lifelines and how do they work?
Lifelines give participants a second chance. If someone doesn’t meet the round requirement, a lifeline can move them forward anyway—if you’ve enabled that option. Lifelines apply equally to everyone in the competition.
Here's how many you can allow based on the number of rounds:
2 rounds: No lifelines available
3 rounds: 0 or 1 lifeline
4 rounds: 0, 1, or 2 lifelines
5 rounds: 0 to 3 lifelines
Important: If you add even one lifeline, all users move to round 2 automatically.
Where do users see their lifelines?
In the Standings & Prizes tab of the competition page. Look for the heart icon:
❤️ Red heart = 1 remaining lifeline
❤️🔥 Red heart with a number = That number of lifelines left
🖤 Grey heart = No more lifelines left
How do I set rounds and durations?
When you choose the competition date, a pop-up will let you customize each round’s start and end time individually. Plan them all at once or adjust as needed!
What does “Goal” vs. “Top” mean?
This is how users move forward:
Goal: Hit a specific number (e.g., 10 meetings)
Top: Be among the top performers (e.g., Top 10 on the leaderboard)
Each round can use different metrics or rules—it’s up to you.
Can each round focus on different metrics?
Yes! You can set unique metrics for each round. Round 1 could focus on outreach, round 2 on meetings booked, and so on.
What if reports don’t upload in time before a round ends?
No problem—admins can manually adjust who qualifies. Just go to Standings & Prizes, choose the round, click the ⚙️ icon, and update participants.
Why can I only see some users in the animation?
To keep things clear, we limit the animation to 10 users at a time. Here’s how it works:
60% of visible users are above the qualifying line, 40% are below.
You’ll always see:
The user closest to the requirement line (above or below)
Yourself or your team (highlighted in teal)
Everyone else appears as “+X others” for a cleaner view.
What do the colors and symbols mean on the leaderboard?
Goal-based rounds:
Green tick = Target met
Teal highlight = You or your team
Faded name = Didn’t meet the goal yet (with current progress shown)
Top X rounds:
No green tick (rankings can shift!)
You'll still see the current performance value.
How did someone move to the next round if they didn’t qualify?
Users can advance in one of three ways:
They hit the target (Goal or Top X)
They used a lifeline
An admin manually moved them forward
What if fewer people make it to the finale than prizes available?
Only users who make it to the final round are eligible for prizes. So, if you offered 5 prizes but only 3 people reach the finale—only those 3 get rewarded. If you’re using coins as prizes, any unused coins will return to your prize budget.
