Role
Any SalesScreen user with permission to log reports
(Supporters cannot log activities)
Plan
All plans
Prerequisites / who this applies to
You can log in to the SalesScreen web app
Your user has permission to log reports (not a Supporter)
Does my data sync automatically?
Many companies connect SalesScreen to a CRM (like Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics). If that’s set up, a lot of your activities may already be created automatically.
Click Dashboard in the left menu.
If your numbers are updating without you doing anything, your CRM sync is working.
You only need to log manually for:
Activities not tracked in the CRM
Corrections or one‑off activities
If nothing shows, or you know something is missing, use manual logging.
How to log an activity manually
Click the green + New button at the top of the left sidebar.
[Insert screenshot: + New menu open, showing Report / Log activity]
Select Report (or Log activity, depending on your account).
Choose the Activity type and Activity that best match what you did
(for example: Sales → New Policy Sold or Calls → Outbound call).Enter the required fields, such as Quantity, Value, Customer or other fields your company uses.
Click Add / Submit to save.
What happens after you submit
Right after you log an activity:
Your Dashboard and leaderboards update in real time
You may earn coins and other rewards tied to that activity
A celebration can be triggered in the feed and on screens
Progress in any competitions, battles, missions and targets that use this activity is updated
What activity types will I see?
Activity types and activities are set up by your admin to match how your company works.
Examples you might see:
Sales: closed deals, policies sold, revenue
Meetings: booked / held meetings
Calls: outbound / inbound calls
Other custom activities specific to your team
If you’re unsure which option to use, ask your manager which activity your team uses for that KPI.
Tips for good logging
Log as you go – you’ll get more timely celebrations and cleaner data
Double‑check your Dashboard after logging to make sure the numbers look right
Use Quick Add if your admin has enabled it for your most common activities
What if this doesn’t work?
I don’t see the “Report / Log activity” option under + New
You might be a Supporter or have limited permissions. Check with your SalesScreen admin to confirm you have access to log reports.
I can’t find the right activity type
The activity might not be created yet. Ask your manager/admin to add an activity that matches what you’re trying to log, or tell you which existing one to use.
I logged something but my Dashboard/leaderboard didn’t change
Refresh the page and check your date filters and team/user filters. If it’s still missing, verify you logged under the correct activity and with the correct date.
I logged on the wrong activity or with wrong numbers
You can usually edit or delete your own reports from Data → Reports / My reports. If you can’t, ask your admin to correct it.
