In SalesScreen departmens are groups of teams. If you see a recurring trend where you want to display statistics for a subset of teams, departments could prove to be useful. 

Example:
The company Paperclip has 10 teams:

  • Alta

  • Bergen

  • Bodø

  • Drammen

  • Grimstad

  • Hamar

  • Kristiansand

  • Oslo

  • Stavanger

  • Tromsø

The company is structured to four different regions, North, East, South and West. To display statistics for each of these regions as a whole,  we can create each of them as a department in SalesScreen, and assign teams to them:

North:

  • Alta

  • Bodø

  • Tromsø

West:

  • Stavanger

  • Bergen

South:

  • Grimstad

  • Kristiansand

East:

  • Drammen

  • Hamar

  • Oslo

When this is set up, you can create widgets and slides to display the performance for each department.
