How do I create a target period?

Create periods in order to set targets for your users, teams and departments.

In order to create a target in SalesScreen, you need to specify it's time frame. Each target belongs to one period. 

The first step is to click Manage at the bottom left corner of SalesScreen. 

A menu will pop up, where you can proceed to click on Targets under the Company headline.

In the upper right corner, click Manage periods.
Note that if this is your first time setting up target periods, you will automatically jump two steps ahead.


Click Add in the upper right corner.

Creating periods

Periods are created based on cycles. Depending on the time frame you specify your targets for, you can select a cycle. 

Do you have a sales quota that is different every week? Or month? Or do you just specify targets for the year as a whole? Click on your desired cycle, and we will be more specific in the next step.

When you have selected a cycle, we will do our best to create periods based on it. If you want to create more periods, adjust the dates at the top and we will use the selected cycle to generate more.


Tip: Do you want to change the name of one or more periods before saving? Click the title, input your name and save it.

As soon as you are pleased with the periods you are previewing, click Create and we will save them to your SalesScreen account.
