Activating Desktop Notifications

Desktop notifications let SalesScreen show small pop‑ups on your computer when something happens (for example, when your team makes a new sale). If you previously blocked notifications, you can easily turn them back on in your browser.

When you first log in

The first time you log in to SalesScreen in a new browser, you may see a prompt like this asking if app.salesscreen.com is allowed to Show notifications (Allow / Block).

  • If you click Allow, desktop notifications are enabled.

  • If you click Block, this prompt will not appear again, and you will not receive desktop notifications on that computer—unless you change the setting manually.

How to re‑enable notifications (Chrome example)

  1. Open the site settings

    • While you are on app.salesscreen.com, click the lock icon to the left of the address bar.

  2. Find your notification settings

    • A small dialog will open showing site permissions.

    • Look for Notifications.

  3. Turn notifications on

    • Click the toggle or dropdown for Notifications and set it to Allow.

    • The toggle will appear blue when notifications are enabled.

(Optional: You can also check that Sound is enabled here if you want an audible alert.)

  4. Refresh the page

    • Reload app.salesscreen.com.

    • You are now ready to receive desktop notifications on your next team sale or event.

This guide is based on Google Chrome, but other browsers have similar controls under their site or privacy settings.
If you’re unable to find the right place to change the permission, contact our support team and we’ll help you locate it.
