Step 2 - Settings

Next up is to set a date and time for the start and end of the competition

When it's time for setting a metric, you have some choices:

Single Metric - Straight forward: either compete by having most quantity or highest value in a report:

Multiple metrics (Points) - The participants gets x amount of points for each report. Can add up to 10 metrics in this competition type:

Activity flow - Choose one of the activity flows that is pre-saved in the account. You can compete by Percentage or Numeric:

Scorecards - As long as you have a scorecard enabled in your account you can also create a competition based on the scorecard:

Step 3 - Participants, goals, prizes, winners and advanced settings.

Who is competing? Choose between users vs users, teams vs teams or even custom teams vs custom teams

Would you like to set goals? Here you can choose in the drop down menu after pressing Yes choose what the different users/teams should have as a goal.

Choose your prizes and winners - Select prizes, add threshold to the prizes and distribute coins.

Review your advanced options;
- Show Top X: Limit the number of participants shown in the leaderboard.
- Privacy Settings: Select the numbers that should be visualized (Show everything, Show value only or Show progression only)
- Winner is declared when - Select how the winner should be announced. It can be the first who achieves the target, or the winner should be the one with the best results by the end of the competition period.
- Schedule Winner announcement date: Set a date, different from the competition end date, for when the winners should be announced and prizes awarded
- What should happen if a tie occurs? - Choose between "Manually select the winner" or "Randomly select the winner"

When you are done setting it up - either save as draft or Save and publish. If you want to publish you get the option to add it to screens, feeds and even send out the notifications to participants when the competition starts, is halfway and completed.
(Recommended to have everything enabled for maximum effect):
