How do I send an endorsement to a colleague in SalesScreen?

You send an endorsement by clicking New → Endorsement, choosing the recipient and category, optionally adding coins and a comment, and clicking Endorse.

Prerequisites

  • Endorsements are enabled for your company

  • The user or team you want to endorse exists and is active in SalesScreen


Step‑by‑step instructions

  1. Open the endorsement form

    • In the left‑hand menu in SalesScreen, click New.

    • From the menu, select Endorsement.

  2. Choose whether to endorse a user or a team

    • In the Endorse a colleague window, choose Level:

      • User to endorse one person, or

      • Team to endorse an entire team.

  3. Select the recipient

    • Use the dropdown to select the user or team you want to endorse.

  4. Choose a category

    • In Category, pick the endorsement type (for example Superhero).

    • Categories are predefined by your admins.

  5. (Optional) Add coins

    • If the chosen category uses coins, enter the number of coins you want to give.

    • If you don’t see a coins field, that category may not use coins.

  6. Write a comment

    • Add a short Comment describing what the person or team did.

    • This text will appear in the feed and on screens, so keep it clear and positive.

  7. Choose whether to broadcast

    • Leave “Broadcast endorsement on screens and as a feed post” checked if you want it to show on TV screens and in the feed.

    • Uncheck it if this endorsement should stay more low‑key.

  8. Send the endorsement

    • Click Endorse to send.

    • The recipient will appear in the feed, and on screens if broadcasting is enabled.


What if this doesn’t work?

I can’t find the Endorsement option

  • Make sure you click New in the left‑hand menu, not inside another module.

  • If Endorsement still doesn’t appear, your access may be restricted. Contact an Admin in your organization to confirm your permissions.

The user or team I want to endorse doesn’t appear in the list

  • Check that the user is active in SalesScreen and assigned to the correct team.

  • Ask an Admin to review the user and team setup under Admin if someone is missing.

I can’t set coins or I don’t see the coins field

  • The category you selected might not be configured to use coins.

  • Ask an Admin to review the endorsement category settings to ensure coins are enabled where needed.
