How do the different Privacy options work in SalesScreen?

The Privacy tab in your Profile Settings lets you control how your activity is shared (Feed, Screens, Battles) and which email notifications you receive (rewards, achievements, endorsements, newsletters).

Where to find Privacy settings

  1. Click your profile in the top‑right corner.

  2. Go to Profile settings → Privacy tab.


Privacy toggles explained

Activity visibility

  • Hide from Feed
    Stops your activity from showing in the SalesScreen News Feed.
    Use this if you don't want your reports, achievements, or endorsements to appear in the company feed.

  • Hide from Screen
    Stops your activity from appearing on TV screens / office playlists.
    Use this if you prefer your celebrations and achievements not to be broadcast on screens.

  • Enable Battle Mode
    Controls whether other users can challenge you to Battles.
    Turn this off if you don't want to participate in 1‑on‑1 Battles.


Email notifications (Admins only)

These options only appear if you're a Reward Admin or Company Admin:

  • Subscribe to reward suggestion emails
    Sends you an email when someone suggests a new reward for the Reward Shop.
    (Reward Admin / Company Admin only)

  • Subscribe to reward request emails
    Sends you an email when someone requests to purchase a reward from the Reward Shop.

    • If your access is limited by team, you'll only be notified of your team members' requests.
      (Reward Admin / Company Admin only)

  • Subscribe to weekly Newsletter
    Sends you an automatically generated weekly summary with:

    • Key metric numbers for the account

    • Info about competitions from the past week

    • Achievements earned in the past week
      (Company Admin only)

  • Subscribe to pending users email
    Sends you notifications about pending user accounts that need approval or activation.
    (Company Admin with no team access restrictions only)


Email notifications (All users)

  • Subscribe to achievement emails
    Sends you an email notification when you earn an Achievement badge.

  • Subscribe to endorsement emails
    Sends you an email notification when you receive an Endorsement from a colleague.


What if this doesn't work?

I don't see some of the email notification options
Some toggles (reward suggestions, reward requests, weekly newsletter, pending users) only appear if you're a Reward Admin or Company Admin. Check your role with a Company Admin.

I turned off "Hide from Screen" but my celebrations still don't appear
Check that:

  • The activity type has Show popup on screen enabled in its notification settings.

  • The screen is configured to show celebrations for your team.

  • You're reporting on an activity that triggers celebrations.

I'm not receiving achievement or endorsement emails even though the toggle is on

  • Check your email spam/junk folder.

  • Confirm your email address is correct in your profile.

  • Make sure your company's email system isn't blocking SalesScreen emails.
