How can I delete a slide in SalesScreen?

You delete a slide in SalesScreen from Screens → Slides (or Available slides) by opening the slide menu and choosing Delete, which removes that slide from all playlists in your company.

  • You have Company Admin or Screen Admin permissions


Important: Before you delete a slide

Deleting a slide is permanent.
When you delete a slide:

  • It is removed from all playlists

  • It disappears for everyone in your SalesScreen company that uses this slide

If you only want to stop showing it on certain TVs, remove the slide from those playlists instead of deleting it entirely.


Delete a single slide

Step 1 – Go to Screens

  1. In SalesScreen, open the left‑hand menu.

  2. Under Other, click Screens.

Step 2 – Find the slide

You can find the slide in either place:

  • Inside a playlist (if you’re cleaning up that playlist), or

  • Under Available slides (using the search bar if needed)

If the slide is already in a playlist you want to clean up, remove it from that playlist first so it stops showing on those TVs.

Step 3 – Delete the slide from Available slides

  1. Go to Available slides (from the left‑hand menu or within Screens, depending on your setup).

  2. Find or search for the slide you want to delete.

  3. Click the three‑dots menu on the slide and choose Delete.

The slide is now deleted for everyone in your SalesScreen company and will no longer appear in any playlists.


Delete multiple slides at once

Delete unused slides (cleanup)

  1. In Slides, click the three‑dots menu.

  2. Choose the option to delete all unused slides.

This quickly removes slides that are not in any playlist.

(Optional) Filter by team in larger accounts

  • Use the team filter (for example, choose Berlin) to see only slides used in that team’s playlists.

  • This makes it easier to review and delete slides that are only relevant to a specific team.


What happens next

  • Any TV playlist that used the deleted slide will simply skip it; the slide no longer exists.

  • If a TV player keeps showing an old slide, it may need to refresh or restart to pick up the change.


What if this doesn’t work?

I don’t see the option to delete a slide

  • Check that you are logged in as a Company Admin or Screen Admin.

  • Other roles may have view‑only access and cannot delete slides.

I deleted a slide by mistake – can I restore it?

  • No. Slide deletion is irreversible.

  • You will need to recreate the slide and add it back to the relevant playlists.

The slide still appears on a TV after deletion

  • Make sure the TV player has refreshed or restarted.

  • Confirm that a duplicate of the slide isn’t still present in another playlist.
