How do Achievements work in SalesScreen?

Achievements are configurable celebrations that trigger when someone hits an important milestone, awarding badges (and optionally XP) and announcing the moment in feeds and on screens.

Role
Primarily Admins and Managers (who configure Achievements)
All users (who can earn Achievements)

Plan
Essentials, Scale, Pro and Enterprise

Prerequisites

  • Achievements are enabled in your SalesScreen environment

  • You have permission to create and edit Achievements

  • If you want to award XP, your company must be on Pro or Enterprise

What is an Achievement?

An Achievement is an automated celebration that is triggered when a user, team, or the whole company reaches an important milestone.

Typical examples include:

  • Completing a sales budget

  • Breaking a sales record

  • Closing 10 deals in a single day

Each Achievement can include:

  • Screen announcements

  • Custom soundtracks

  • Badges

  • Experience points (XP) (on Pro and Enterprise)

This makes key moments highly visible and rewarding for everyone involved.

What types of Achievements can I create?

SalesScreen offers two main categories of Achievements:

  • Automatic Achievements

  • Scheduled Achievements

You can create Achievements according to your plan limits

  • Essentials: up to 10 Achievements

  • Scale, Pro, Enterprise: unlimited Achievements

Automatic Achievements

Automatic Achievements are triggered right after a report is added to SalesScreen, as long as the conditions you defined are met.

You can base automatic Achievements on several condition types:

1. Budget progression
Triggered when a user, team, or the company reaches a certain percentage of their current budget.

  • Example: A team reaches 120% of its sales budget (in value).

2. Time
Triggered when a user adds a report within a specific time window.

  • Example: A user reports an offer sent between 18:00 and 23:00.

3. Single report
Triggered when a user adds one report whose value or quantity is higher than a defined goal.

  • Example: A user reports a sale of Product A with a value over 100,000.

4. Combined reports
Triggered when a user, team, or company adds multiple reports in a specific time frame and the total value or quantity exceeds a goal.

  • Example: A team reports more than 50 offers in one month.

5. Single record
Triggered when a user adds a report that sets a new record for highest value or quantity in a single report (personal, team, or company).

  • Example: A user sets a new personal sales record (in value) on Product A.

6. Progression
Triggered when a user, team, or company beats the previous period’s result (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly).

  • Example: The company surpasses last week’s sales results (in value).

Scheduled Achievements

Scheduled Achievements are triggered at a specific time, not directly when a report is added.

A common example is MVP:

  • Highlights the top sellers at team or company level for a given period

  • Example: The company’s best seller of Product A for the week is announced the following Monday at 08:00

There is no hard cap on how many scheduled Achievements you can create (within your overall plan limits).

What happens when an Achievement is triggered?

For each Achievement you control both how the user is rewarded and how the moment is announced.

Achievement award

You can configure:

  • Which badge is awarded

  • How many XP (experience points) the user receives (XP available on Pro and Enterprise)

Achievement announcement

You can decide:

  • Where the Achievement is announced (for example, on TV screens, in feeds)

  • The layout of the announcement

  • The soundtrack that is played

  • The duration of the on‑screen announcement

This lets you create highly visible, memorable celebrations whenever important milestones are reached.

What if this doesn’t work?

Achievements are not triggering as expected

  • Check that the conditions (activity type, thresholds, time windows, teams) are set correctly.

  • Verify that relevant reports are actually being logged with the right values and products.

Users are not getting badges or XP

  • Confirm that the badge and XP amount are configured in the Achievement’s award settings.

  • Make sure your plan supports XP & Levels if you expect XP to be granted (Pro / Enterprise).

Nothing appears on screens when an Achievement is triggered

  • Check that the Achievement is configured to announce on screens.

  • Verify that at least one screen or playlist is set up to show Achievement content and that players are online.
