Prerequisites
You can log in to the SalesScreen web app
You have access to Profile settings for your user
Step‑by‑step instructions
Open your profile settings
Add your phone number (optional, for SMS codes)
Go to the Security tab
At the top, click the Security tab.
Find the Two‑Factor Authentication card.
Enable two‑factor authentication
Use 2FA when you log in
Next time you sign in, enter your email + password as usual.
You’ll then be asked for a 6‑digit code:
If you have no phone number, the code is sent by email.
If you have a phone number, the system can send the code by SMS.
To turn off 2FA later, go back to Profile settings → Security and disable Two‑Factor Authentication.
What happens next
Next time you sign in, enter your email and password as usual.
You’ll then be asked for a 6‑digit verification code:
If you have no phone number saved, the code is sent to your email.
If you have a phone number, the code can be sent by SMS.
What if this doesn’t work?
I don’t see the Two‑Factor Authentication option
Refresh the page and make sure you’re on Profile settings → Security (not another tab). If it’s still missing, contact your admin or support.
I don’t receive any code
Check your spam/junk folder for the email, or confirm that your phone number is correct if you’re using SMS. Try resending the code and make sure your device has coverage/Internet.
I entered the code but get an error
Codes are time‑limited. Request a new code and enter it quickly, and double‑check that you didn’t mix similar digits (for example 0 and 8).
I’ve lost access to my email/phone and can’t log in
Contact your Company Admin or SalesScreen support so they can help you regain access and, if needed, temporarily disable 2FA.
