You and your opponent both have access to the metric you want to use
Step‑by‑step: Create a 1‑on‑1 Battle
Step 1 – Open Battles
Go to the Battles page in SalesScreen.
In the left‑hand menu, click Battles.
Click the + New button.
Step 2 – Choose “Create” or “Create for others”
When the panel opens on the right:
Click Create to start a Battle for yourself.
Click Create for others if you are a manager/admin setting up a Battle between other users (see related article for full manager workflow).
Step 3 – Pick who you want to battle
At the top, under Who do you want to battle?
Click the field.
Select the colleague you want to battle.
Step 4 – Choose what you compete on
Under What would you like to compete on?
Click the big Select Metric bar.
Pick the metric you want to use (for example Sales, Meetings, Calls).
Step 5 – Send the invite
Check that opponent, metric, and dates look correct.
Click Send invite.
Your Battle is now created. When your opponent accepts and you both start reporting on the chosen metric, the Battle leaderboard will update automatically.
What if this doesn’t work?
I don’t see the Battles page or the New button
Battles may not be enabled for your company, or your role doesn’t have access. Ask an Admin to verify your permissions and plan (Battles are only available on Pro and Enterprise).
I can’t find the colleague I want to battle
Check that the user is active in SalesScreen and belongs to the correct team/department. If they still don’t appear, ask an Admin to review their user setup.
My opponent never receives the invite or can’t accept
Ask them to open the Battles page and check their invites/pending Battles. If nothing shows, cancel and resend the invite, or contact an Admin to check whether Battles are restricted for their role/team.
