How can I send the login information to a user?

Send login information to a user so they receive an email invitation to set their password and access their SalesScreen account.

Before you start

Available on: All plans
Access required: Company Admin or User Admin

Note: If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), users will log in through your SSO provider instead. See the article "Enable SSO for your team" for instructions.

How to send login information

  1. Go to Manage in the bottom-left corner of SalesScreen

  2. Click Users under the Company section

  3. Select the user(s) you want to send login information to by checking the box next to their name

  4. Click Email Login Information/Send reset password via email

Password requirements

For security, passwords must be at least 12 characters long.

Valid examples:

  • 1234567891011

  • abcdefghijklm

  • aPasswordExample

Once the user sets their password, they can log in at app.salesscreen.com.

What if this doesn't work?

Problem: I don't see the Email Login Information button
Solution: Make sure you have Company Admin or User Admin access. If you don't have this access, contact your Company Admin to send the login information or grant you the required permission.

Problem: The user says they didn't receive the email
Solution: Ask the user to check their spam/junk folder. If it's not there, verify that the email address on the user profile is correct (click the user's name to view their profile). You can resend the login information by following the same steps again.

Problem: The user's password is rejected even though it's 12 characters
Solution: The password must be at least 12 characters long. Some password managers or auto-fill tools may generate shorter passwords. Ask the user to manually count the characters or try a different password that clearly meets the 12-character minimum.

Problem: I need to send login information to a new user who doesn't exist yet
Solution: You must create the user first before you can send login information. When creating a new user, you have the option to send login information immediately by checking the "Send login information to email" box in the user creation form.

Problem: The login link expired
Solution: Password reset links expire after a certain time for security. Simply send the login information again by following the same steps, and the user will receive a fresh link.

Problem: The user created their password but can't log in at app.salesscreen.com
Solution: Verify that the user is going to the correct URL (app.salesscreen.com) and using the email address registered in SalesScreen. If your organization uses SSO, they should not use this login method — direct them to your SSO login page instead.
