Do I need this article?
SalesScreen is already in your connector list in Claude or ChatGPT: you don't need to set anything up. Follow How do I connect SalesScreen to Claude or ChatGPT?
Your company uses Claude Team or Enterprise, or ChatGPT Business or Enterprise: only the workspace admin can add the connector. They do it once, and it shows up for everyone.
You use Claude Pro or Max, or a personal ChatGPT plan: you add the connector yourself.
What you need
Claude: a Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan.
ChatGPT: a Business, Enterprise or Edu plan to create things in SalesScreen. On ChatGPT Pro, you can read your data but not create anything.
To sign in: a SalesScreen login with the Company Admin or Manager role. Each person signs in with their own login.
Start from SalesScreen
Go to edit your profile â Integrations, or follow this link.
Click Manage next to MCP Connector.
Click Connect to Claude or ChatGPT.
Claude
In Claude, click Customize and go to Connectors.
Click Add custom connector.
Name it SalesScreen and paste this URL:
https://mcp.salesscreen.com/mcp
Click Continue and enter mcp-connector in the OAuth Client ID field.
Click Add, then Connect, and sign in with your SalesScreen login.
Start a new chat and try: "What can the SalesScreen connector do?"
ChatGPT on a personal plan
In ChatGPT, open Settings â Apps & Connectors â Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
Go back to Apps & Connectors and click Create.
Name it SalesScreen and paste this URL as the server URL:
https://mcp.salesscreen.com/mcpClick Advanced OAuth settings and enter mcp-connector in the Client ID field.
Save, then sign in with your SalesScreen login.
Start a new chat, turn on the SalesScreen connector and try: "Show me this week's leaderboard."
ChatGPT Business or Enterprise (workspace admin)
In ChatGPT, open Workspace settings and turn on Developer mode for the workspace.
Go to Apps & Connectors and click Create.
Name it SalesScreen and paste this URL as the server URL:
https://mcp.salesscreen.com/mcpClick Advanced OAuth settings and enter mcp-connector in the Client ID field.
Save, then publish the connector to your workspace so members can use it.
Tell your team it's ready
On a company plan, send your team this article: How do I connect SalesScreen to Claude or ChatGPT? They open Connectors, find SalesScreen, click Connect and sign in. Nobody else needs the URL or client ID.
What if this doesn't work?
I can't find Developer mode or Add custom connector: on company plans, only your Claude or ChatGPT workspace admin can add connectors. Send them this article.
A team member can't see SalesScreen in their connector list: check that the connector was added for the whole workspace, not only for your own account. In ChatGPT, check that it is published to the workspace.
Sign-in fails or I get an access error: the connector only works for SalesScreen Company Admins and Managers. Ask your SalesScreen admin to check the role. Also check that Allow MCP connections is switched on under Manage â Settings â Scout AI in SalesScreen.
ChatGPT can read data but won't create anything: creating things in SalesScreen needs ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu. Claude Pro and up can do both.
