How to Add Rewards

The Reward Shop lets you turn in‑app achievements into real‑world rewards. Users earn coins through competitions, endorsements, achievements, and activities, then spend those coins on rewards you’ve created.

A well‑designed Reward Shop helps you:

  • Reinforce the behaviors you care about (e.g., new meetings booked, deals closed).

  • Give managers an easy way to recognize top performers.

  • Offer prizes that actually motivate your teams (from company swag to experiences or gift cards).

As an admin or manager, you control:

  • Which rewards are available and to which teams.

  • How many coins each reward costs and what it costs the company.

  • Whether redemptions are auto‑approved or require a manual check.

  • What extra information users must provide so you can fulfill the reward correctly (size, color, address, etc.).

Adding Rewards

Step 1: Open the Rewards module

  1. Click Rewards in the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. This opens the Reward Shop management view, where you see all current rewards and their status.

Step 2: Create a new reward

  1. Click the + New Reward button in the top‑right corner.

  2. A new reward setup page will open.

You can either:

  • Select a reward from our suggested rewards, or

  • Create your own custom reward.

If your company uses Tango Card, you can also connect digital gift cards so that fulfillment is automated once a reward is redeemed.

Step 3: Add reward details

Basic information

  • Image
Choose one of the pre-populated images or upload your own. This is what users will see in the Reward Shop.

  • Title
The name of the reward as it appears to users.

  • Description
A short text shown under the title and image to explain what the reward is (e.g., “Company hoodie with logo, shipped to your home address.”).

  1. Featured
Check this box if you want the reward to appear in the featured area at the top of the Reward Shop. This is useful for promoting new or high‑impact rewards.

  2. Show on Screen and Feed
Check this if you want a celebration to appear on Screens and in the Feed whenever someone redeems this reward, giving extra visibility to the recognition.

  3. Select Category
Add the reward to a category (or create a new one) such as Company Swag, Gift Cards, Work Supplies, or Experiences.
Users can then filter rewards by category to quickly find what they want.

Pricing and limits

  • Company Cost
The real cost of the reward for your company (e.g., €25). This helps you track budget and ROI on your reward program.

  • Coins
How many coins a user must spend to redeem the reward (e.g., 500 coins). This is what users see and plan for when they earn coins.

  • Enable Auto‑Approval
Turn this on if the reward can be automatically approved when redeemed (best for low‑cost or digital rewards).
Turn it off if you want an admin to review and approve each redemption manually.

  • Limit Quantity
Sets how many total units of this reward are available for the whole organization.
Example: If you set it to 10, only 10 approved redemptions are allowed; after that, the reward disappears from the shop.

  • Purchase Limit
Limits how many times one user can redeem this reward within a specific time period.
Example: Max 2 per quarter so one person can’t use all your budget.

  • Limit Period
Defines a date range when the reward is available (e.g., only during a quarter or during a special campaign).
Great for seasonal or goal‑driven rewards, like “Q2 Winner’s Trip”.

  • Limit Team Access
Choose one or more teams that are allowed to see and redeem this reward.
This is useful for team‑specific incentives (e.g., SDR‑only rewards) or country‑specific items.

Additional fields

  • Additional Fields
Add up to three extra fields to collect information needed to deliver the reward, such as:

    • T‑shirt size

    • Color preference

    • Shipping address

You can choose text fields or dropdowns, and you can mark them as required.
This ensures you have everything you need to fulfill the reward correctly without extra back‑and‑forth with the user.

Once you’ve filled out all relevant fields, save your changes. The reward will then appear in the Reward Shop according to the visibility, limits, and time settings you configured.
