How do I change the duration of a slide on a TV screen?

You change how long a slide stays on screen by editing its Duration inside the playlist.

Prerequisites

  • You have access to Screens → Playlists

  • The slide is already added to a playlist that is used by a screen

Step‑by‑step instructions

Step 1 – Open Screens and go to Playlists

  1. In the left‑hand sidebar, click Screens.

  2. At the top, select the Playlists tab.

Step 2 – Select the playlist

  1. In the Playlists list on the left, click the playlist that contains the slide you want to change (for example Main Playlist).

  2. The slides in that playlist appear on the right.

Step 3 – Change the slide duration

  1. Find the slide whose timing you want to change.

  2. Click the three dots (⋯) on the right side of that slide row.

  3. Click Duration.

  4. Enter the number of seconds you want the slide to stay visible on the TV (for example 15 or 60).

  5. Confirm/save.

The next time the playlist runs on the TV screen, that slide will show for the new duration.

What if this doesn’t work?

I don’t see the Duration option
You may not have Screen Admin / Company Admin rights, or that slide type might have a fixed duration. Ask an admin to check your access or try with a different slide.

The timing doesn’t change on the TV

  • Make sure you clicked Save/OK after entering the new duration.

  • Reload the screen from Screens → Screens (use the reload icon) to force an update.
