How do I manage my Celebrations?

You manage your Celebrations from your profile’s Celebrations tab, where you can choose existing videos or add new YouTube‑based or appearance‑only celebrations for your reports.

Prerequisites

  • Celebrations are enabled for your organization

  • You have a YouTube link if you want to add your own video celebration

Step 1 – Open your Celebrations

  1. In SalesScreen, click New in the left menu.

  2. In the list, click Celebration.

Your profile page opens.

Step 2 – Go to the Celebrations tab in your profile

  1. At the top of your profile, click the Celebrations tab.

Here you see your current main celebration and any special celebrations you already have.

Step 3 – Choose or change your celebration

  1. Click Edit on your current celebration, or open the celebration picker.

  2. At the top, under My celebrations, you can:

    • Click an existing video and press Select, or

    • Click the big + tile to add a new celebration.

There are two main celebration types:

  • YouTube video – a clip pulled from YouTube

  • Appearance‑only – no video, just the popup and system sound

Step 4 – Add a new YouTube celebration

  1. After you click the + tile, the Create celebration window opens.

  2. In YouTube URL, paste the full YouTube link to your video.

  3. In Start time (seconds), choose when the video should start.

    • Example: type 10 to start 10 seconds into the video.

  4. Turn Sound on or off.

  5. (Optional) Add a Title for the celebration.

  6. Click Select to save it.

Your new video now appears under My celebrations and can be selected any time.

Step 5 – Use a YouTube Short (special note)

If your video is a YouTube Short, you must change the link a bit:

  1. Take the Short URL, for example:

  2. Copy the part between /shorts/ and ? (here: 8eSTAJDLEIs).

  3. Put it into a normal YouTube URL like this:

  4. Use this second URL in SalesScreen.

What happens next?

  • Your chosen celebration will play on the TV (and other SalesSurround screens) when you log a report, or whenever the rules say it should.

  • You can return to the Celebrations tab at any time to switch to a different video, create new ones, or use an appearance‑only celebration.

What if this doesn’t work?

  • The celebration frame shows, but the YouTube video doesn’t play

    • The video may have been removed from YouTube → select another video.

    • Your network may block YouTube → ask your IT team to allow YouTube, or switch to an appearance‑only celebration instead.

  • My YouTube Short link doesn’t work

    • Make sure you converted the URL from /shorts/… to watch?v=… as described above.
