How do I create a new widget on a dashboard in SalesScreen?

You create a widget from Dashboard → New widget, then choose what data to show, pick a layout, set filters, and save it to the current board.

Step‑by‑step instructions

Step 1 – Open the Dashboard

  1. In the left‑side menu, click Dashboard.

  2. Open the board where you want the widget to appear.


Step 2 – Start creating a widget

  1. In the top‑right corner, click New widget.

  2. A wizard opens where you choose metric, layout and filters.


Step 3 – Choose what you want to show

Under Data, you can choose for example:

  • Single metric – track one specific metric (most common).

  • Activity flow – show multiple metrics or hit rates in one view.

Under Gamification, you can choose for example:

  • Achievements – show an achievements leaderboard.

  • XP & Levels – display XP and level rankings.

(Exact options depend on your plan and setup.)


Step 4 – Select a layout

Decide how the data should look:

  • Bar / Leaderboard – rankings with bars (horizontal or vertical).

  • Number – a single total or countdown to target.

  • Pie – rankings shown as a pie chart.

  • Line / Timeline – trends over time.

  • Table – simple leaderboard with numbers.


Step 5 – Configure filters

Use the filters to control what the widget shows:

  • View by: choose User, Team, Department or Company.

  • Show: select how many entries to show (e.g. Top 3, Top 10, All).

  • Period: choose Today, This week, This month, or a Custom date range.

  • Teams: choose All teams or select specific teams only.

  • Adjust any additional options depending on widget type (e.g. measure towards target, comparison).


Step 6 – Save the widget

  1. Click Save / Create widget at the bottom of the wizard.

  2. Your new widget appears on the current Dashboard board.


What if this doesn’t work?

The widget shows no data or wrong numbers
Edit the widget (click the cogwheel on the widget) and verify you selected the correct metric, period, filters and teams.

The widget doesn’t appear on my Dashboard
Make sure you clicked Save at the end of the wizard, then refresh the page and confirm you’re on the correct board.

I can’t find the metric I want to track
The metric may not be created yet. Go to Manage → Metrics to create it, or ask your admin to confirm the metric exists and is visible.

The New widget button is missing or disabled
You may not have Admin or Manager access on this board. Contact your Company Admin to update your permissions.
